Hadi Özalp was born in 1952 in Polatlı, Ankara, the son of a farmer family. After completing his secondary and high school education at Feyziye Mektepleri Foundation Private Işık High School, Hadi Özalp graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Civil Engineering. He made one of the most important decisions of his life, and instead of pursuing a career in engineering, he chose to enter the world of commerce.

Hadi Özalp's business life, which started with a limited capital, enabled him to make a good start thanks to his values, vision, foresight, sense of sharing, determination, mutual trust and loyalty.

While many companies in the same period preferred their own family names for the choice of company name, Hadi Özalp made the choice that would guide the sector later on; Murat, Anadol, Renault, which was the vehicle park of that period, Turkish Joint Stock Company gave life to the name MARTAŞ.

Hadi Özalp Adopting the principle of being a pioneer in the sector in Customer Satisfaction when he founded Martaş Automotive in 1980 in Kadıköy, Istanbul; in his journey with this doctrine, he reflected the values of "trust, stability and quality" to all business processes as indispensable for the company today.

Adopting the idea of "institutionalization of companies and strengthening of the sector" rather than the monopoly of individuals, Hadi Özalp has succeeded in carrying the philosophy of "strength comes from unity, we grow as we share" to the field.

Our founder, who closely followed the increasing vehicle park and developing models with the development of the automotive market, did not refrain from sharing his gains with the sector by trusting his customers, employees and suppliers. With this awareness, Mr. Özalp aimed to establish a sales, marketing and distribution network all over Turkey, and by continuously investing in people, he ensured that Martaş Automotive is known as an "exemplary company" today.

Hadi Özalp defined the family company he founded in 1980 as the Martaş Family, growing together with his colleagues, open to development, loyal to its roots, and after preparing his sons Ziya Özalp and Cem Baver Özalp for the sector and Martaş Automotive for many years, he handed over many of his active duties and started to follow the development of Martaş Automotive as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Hadi Özalp, who has played an important role in Martaş Automotive's establishment of sincere relationships with its business partners, plays an active role in social aid associations and many non-governmental organizations on a voluntary basis, regardless of the job description, and carries the belief of being an individual who is beneficial to his country and society into his daily life without exception.
