Erdem Çarıkcı is the new general manager of Martaş Automotive, which operates in the independent aftermarket for passenger car and light commercial vehicle spare parts in the automotive sector and celebrated its 40th anniversary last year.

Erdem Çarıkcı, who has continued his career at various levels for many years at the world-renowned automotive supplier Valeo, where Martaş Automotive also undertakes sales, marketing and distribution, started his duty as general manager within Martaş Automotive as of 2021.

Born in 1976 in Istanbul, Erdem Çarıkcı received his bachelor's degree in computer engineering. Then, in 1998, he started his career as a trainee engineer at Valeo, a French-based company offering equipment and integrated systems for light and heavy commercial vehicles.

After 22 years of Valeo career with 7 different positions and assignments in 2 different countries, Çarıkcı completed his last assignment under this company as General Manager of Valeo Service Turkey at the end of December 2020. Married with two children, Erdem Çarıkcı speaks English and German.
