40 Billion Euro Giant Automotive Cooperation Organization ATR International Elects Ziya Özalp as Board Member

At the meeting held in Hungary of the ATR International cooperation organization, which includes 290 independent spare parts distributors with a total business volume of 40 billion Euros from 66 different countries of the world, Martaş Automotive Board Member Ziya Özalp was elected to the Board of Directors. Özalp became the first Turk to be appointed to this position in the world's most established organization in his field.

Expressing his great pride for being elected to the Board of Directors of ATR International, Özalp said, "It is a source of great pride for me to represent Turkey on an international platform and to take part in the management of this giant organization with a business volume of 40 billion Euros. With this important task, we will exhibit the competence and power of our country in the automotive sector in the global arena."
 
A business person from Turkey was appointed to the management of one of the world's leading and well- established organizations in his field of activity.

The new board members of ATR International, the cooperation organization that brings together the world's leading independent automotive spare parts companies, were elected at a meeting held in Hungary.

At the meeting, Ziya Özalp, Martaş Automotive Board Member, was elected to the Board of Directors of ATR International, which was established in 1967 and includes 290 independent spare parts distributors from 66 different countries with a total business volume of 40 billion Euros.

ATR International has 11,200 sales points around the world and 196,500 employees. The organization, which aims to provide high quality original spare parts to independent automobile repair shops and spare parts dealers, is headquartered in Denkendorf, near Stuttgart, Germany.

Martaş Automotive Board Member Ziya Özalp expressed his great pride and happiness for being elected to the Board of Directors of ATR International. Özalp pointed out that his new position will help the Turkish automotive spare parts industry to gain more recognition in the international arena and facilitate the access of domestic manufacturers to global markets. Özalp said, "It is a great source of pride for me to represent Turkey on an international platform and to take part in the management of this giant organization with a business volume of 40 billion Euros. With this important task, we will exhibit our country's competence and power in the automotive sector in the global arena."
