Turkey's Domestic Automobile on the World Stage!

Turkey's domestic automobile, designed and produced by the Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG), was introduced to the world on Friday, December 27 with the participation of many senior executives from the world of business and politics, including the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, and Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). At the introductory ceremony held at Gebze Informatics Valley under the name of "Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group Journey to Innovation Meeting", TOOG introduced the all-electric C-SUV and C-SEDAN models and announced that it will also launch the C-Hatchback, B-SUV and C-MPV models in the coming years. The factory setup of the domestic automobile, whose intellectual property rights belong entirely to Turkey, will be completed by 2021 and the date of the first vehicle's landing from the production line is shown as 2022.
Gürcan Karakaş, CEO of TOGG, stated that the domestic cars, whose batteries are developed from scratch, will be offered with two alternatives, 200 hp and 400 hp, with rear-wheel drive or dual engine 4- wheel drive system, that the vehicles with holographic assistants have 500 and 300 kilometer range alternatives and will provide charging in under 30 minutes with fast charging.
Hadi Özalp, Ziya Özalp and Cem Baver Özalp from the Board of Directors of Martaş Automotive took part in this important presentation ceremony where Turkey's domestic automobile was introduced.
